Harlem Music Hut — Global Header
Est. 1996125th Street, Harlem Open late

Harlem, NY · Open since 1996

Come in. The music’s already playing.

Harlem Music Hut is a living archive of Hip-Hop — legendary mixtapes, the DJs who broke them, and the new voices we just pulled from the crates. Every record in here has a story. Ask us about any of them.

Open today · 10am – 8pm · 125th & Music Hut Drive

The Listening Room

There’s a Room
in the Back.

Two turntables, a tape deck, sixty chairs and a rule about talking through the quiet parts. Thursdays are free and open to anybody. Bring a record if you want it played.

  • 01 Thursday listening sessions. One record, start to finish, no phones. Somebody who knows it says a few words first. Free.
  • 02 Open decks, first Saturday. Bring your crate, take fifteen minutes. Sign-up sheet goes on the counter at noon and fills by two.
  • 03 Tape intake, any time we’re open. If you’ve got tapes in a shoebox, bring them. We’ll digitize them free and give you back the originals.
